If we had exerted the effort to step back, think, and block out all of the frenzied media propaganda, this angry, bitter, inexperienced man would not be president and our mortal struggle to stave off the ruin of socialism would not be quite so dire.

Lost without lies

Remember, Obama’s minions have publicly stated that legislation and policies don’t need even partial consensus from the opposition as long as opposing ideas are heard — or that Democrats are at least seen by the public to be listening.

Oh really? Then what explains why Democrats on the Congressional Franking Commission are censoring Republicans?

Congressional Republicans are censored from using the words “government run health care” in communications to their constituents — the very people who elected them to serve!

Yet another in a tiring string of lies about open government.

But that is exactly why Obama and the Democrat Congress must keep lying; Why they want to rush through Government-run Health Care Rationing as quickly as possible. Each day of delay finds more and more Americans in opposition.

Think local, use common sense

Look folks, the Internet is overloaded with news outlets, organizations, think tanks, and big-name blogs that are spewing forth opinions by the nanosecond on every topic imaginable. You don’t need to read it all to understand the game.

Just use the good common sense with which the Creator blessed us all. You will see through the lies, the scheming, and the hatred with a keenness you never thought possible. The final determinant to any argument comes down to how you and your neighbors live your lives.

If you are scofflaws, tax cheats, immoral, believe in taking from others, or just anti-social, it’s a good bet you replaced common sense with scheming a long time ago.

But if you are charitable Americans, hard-working, law-abiding, principled, neighborly, and honorable, you will clearly discern the difference between what they say and what they do.

Results don’t lie

The state of our country and the state of your community today should tell you all you need to know; Big Government is ruining our nation.

We are employing economic methods that guarantee continued failure. In the blink of an eye, we have amassed an acronym smorgasbord of failed Statist schemes: TARP, PPIP, TALF, TLGP, CAP, TIP, HASP, CPFF, AMLF, MMIFF.

And this doesn’t even include the death of the Bush tax cuts, proposed new stimulus fiasco, the Cap and Tax Scam, or Government-run Health Care Rationing.

It also doesn’t include the fact that we now have the biggest federal deficits in our nation’s history. Our national debt is $12 trillion and growing. Social Security is in the red by $11 trillion and growing. Medicare is in the red by $48 trillion and growing.

14.7 million Americans are unemployed, the most since records dating back to 1948 — and for the first time since the Great Depression, every single job created after the prior recession has been eliminated.

Industrial production is falling at the same pace as it did during the Great Depression, as is global trade. The most populous state — California, with the largest GDP and the greatest impact on the nation’s economy — is collapsing.

Locally, consumers have reduced spending, small businesses are going under or shedding employees, and governments are forced to cut budgets, services, and employees.

Reality is not a lie

Since claiming office, Obama has destroyed record-setting 2008 corporate tax receipts, today down by 55 percent. He destroyed record-setting 2008 individual tax receipts, today down by 27 percent.

He has overseen a 9.5 percent unemployment rate that is rising daily. He now has 32 unelected policy czars administering the nation, with no congressional input or oversight.

Obama seized control of the auto and banking industries. He desires to manipulate the energy industry, education, and health care.

He has used State-run Media, the Democrat Congress, the IRS, and the university system to attack and impugn private citizens and detractors.

He has redistributed hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to unions, special-interest allies, and community-based radicals, all under the guise of “stimulus.”

This is reality, not just some carefully-chosen words from a teleprompted speech. Obama is rhetoric without substance. Without lies, Obama and the Democrat Congress cannot succeed, cannot ensure that certain people and groups profit from America’s misery.
